During the last years, the Israeli organization Zochrot (“Remembering”) contributed to raise public awareness within the Jewish-Israeli audience about the significance of the Palestinian Nakba. Not merely as a historical tragedy to be remembered, but as the core of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and the key for its just resolution, including the situation of the Palestinian Refugees.
Debby Farber will introduce Zochrot and its various programs and discuss questions and challenges of the organization in working with the Jewish-Israeli audience in the present reality in Israel-Palestine.
